Taneka M. Fuller, NCC, LPC-S
I graduated from Northwestern State University in May 2007 with a Masters in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Guidance Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have over 10 years experience working with children/families. I began my career working as a Child Protection Investigator for the Department of Children & Family Services which motivated me to return to school to pursue a degree in Counseling. I have previously worked as a MST Therapist and Mental Health Counselor before opening Fuller Counseling Services, LLC in December of 2013.
I am dedicated to making positive changes in the lives of others. I am a Board Member of CASSE which oversees local health clinics in the Shreveport/Bossier area. I mentor youth in the Youth Challenge Program which encourages youth to make positive changes in their lives academically and socially. I am a mentor for the National Board of Certified Counselors which helps encourage, support and advise students working towards a degree in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor which helps other working counselors become licensed professional counselors in the state of Louisiana. I also serve as an Intern Supervisor for students who are currently pursuing a degree in Counseling at various universities.
